Dizzy

Today, according to my doctors, the car crash I was in has damaged the part of my brain responsible for balance and coordination, which is why no matter if I'm standing, sitting, or lying down, I feel dizzy as fuck. Unless by some miracle my brain can fix itself, this might be a lifelong condition. I want to cry. FML

I'm dealing with the same thing after I fainted and hit my head on cement hard. look into the epley maneuver. it helps a ton.it's been a year but because I did the exercises every day the vertigo and aweful dizziness is a lot less. it takes at least 6 months though or longer.now it's only when I wake up or I'm dehydrated ill get dizzy. don't forget to get a scan to make sure there isn't swelling of the brain or anything.

10 yrs post tbi here. Still have headaches every day and nausea most days. No fun at all. I'm so sorry it happened to you. The best thing you can do for yourself is rest. I know it's hard when you have to provide for yourself but rest is the only thing that will help heal your brain at all. Wishing you luck.
