Today, I had gum surgery. I can't laugh. I can't smile. I can't talk. I can't eat. All I can do is wait for the pain medication to kick in. FML

I know how that is, I feel for you. The pain willgo away soon just make sure that you use bacteria killing mouth wash, and I hope that you had a competent surgeon so you don't have to go through it again like I did.

Oh man I know that feeling. I just had some teeth pulled. blendered steak soup is not as good as a real steak! Praying for ya.

I had gum surgery a couple weeks ago. The good news is that the swelling should completely go down within the next 48 hours, and the pain should be gone within the next few days as well.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I have MS-related trigeminal neuralgia. What you're going through happens to me all the time. It's not a whole lot of fun. I think waiting for meds to kick in is a special kind of torture that if a person's lucky, they never know. I hope you feel better soon.
