Today I realised that since moving in with my partner I've spent every single day off I've had cleaning. while he spends his going to see friends. I'm house bound unless with him as I don't have my licence... whitch he promised to help me get 2 years ago. and has not. fml.

My mother always said... "You are only a doormat if you allow yourself to be one." Take some control. Express your feelings. Have meaningful conversations about your wants and needs. That is how relationships work, and if he doesn't give you what you are looking for, then leave. Life is to short to be unhappy.

Why would he want to help you get your license? He might have to do some cleaning and you’d become more independent to see that you actually have a shit deal with him.
