You want conflict? I'll give you conflict!

By anonymous - This FML is from back in 2011 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I tried to clock in at work, only to have the clock tell me I "wasn't scheduled", so I asked my boss what was going on. Turns out I was fired, and this was her way of avoiding conflict. FML

That's lame. She shouldn't be a boss if she doesn't have the balls to fire someone.

True.... but... she is. End of story.

That technique fosters insecurity of the other employees. That cannot be good. Cut the bitch's tires.

Happened to me too. I got back from my honeymoon and went to find out my schedule and I wasn't on the schedule at all that week which I thought was odd but I decided my boss was just giving me some time to get acquainted to married life and I'd be back on the schedule the next week. Next week arrived and I went in again to find out my schedule. Turns out she decided without even giving me a chance that I'd make a worse employee after marriage because I'd have more scheduling conflicts and stuff. She just stopped scheduling me and hoped I'd get the message without ever needing her to say a word.

Her way of avoiding conflict? What a ******* pussy of a boss! Didn't it occur to her that you would most likely be confused and then question why you were unable to clock in? If she can't handle to downsides to being a boss, like firing someone, she should step down.

With someone that pathetic as a boss, you probably needed to look for a new job anyway. This is just going to speed things up for you. Be sure to let HR know what went down.
