Where's that coming from?
Today, I freaked out because of the smell of rotting eggs lingering in my apartment. I soon discovered it was my boyfriend's feet. FML

Air freshener, windows open and tell him to go away for the day. Repeat this once a day.

If it's that bad, a shower probably won't do the trick, at least not for long. Have him soak his feet in vinegar or tea for ten minutes a day for a week or two. Feet sweat a lot too, so pick up a few pairs of 100% cotton socks. This might solve his problem.

Get that athletes foot spray and hit his shoes with it daily, or multiple times daily. That will kill the shoe bacteria. The same spray kills foot bacteria. Declare all out chemical warfare on shoe and foot bacteria - that is where the stink is from. Air freshener is crap.
