Today, at school, after returning from a very serious operation, a group of bullies stole something I got during my recovery - my new prosthetic leg. I still have no idea where it is. FML

I know it's annoying and sometimes you feel like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest but you have to stay positive and take each day 1 step at a time.

Bullies are the worst and kids can be extremely insensitive to other people disabilities. I know first hand “ look on the bright side they could’ve stuck your head in the toilet after” Study up on your martial arts and join the wrestling or football team even if you are just a manager/ helper. If somebody believes you mention it to the team watch how quickly do your bullying issue disappears!

I would like to believe so. The bullies have caused even more emotional distress to OP after she went through such a traumatic experience. The fact that some people find it hilarious (based on the number of votes for the laughing emoticon) and trying to be funny in their comments is even more disgusting. Clearly they are bullies themselves.

If for some reason you don't want to go to the teachers, just mention it to the big kids. Unless you're in the oldest year there always are a group of bigger bullies who would love a reason to beat the crap out of smaller kids and feel good about themselves at the same time. Bullies stole my prosthetic leg is pretty much the perfect excuse.

As mentioned in my comment below, basically I was changing for PE, and took it off because it's easier to change that way. It was the end of the school day, so they managed to leave without anyone really noticing what was going on at first.
