Today, my mom had knee surgery, can't work So she told me not to any expect allowance for awhile. My PC won't work because my video card died so I busted my ass doing yard work for people to get a new one. A few weeks later and here I am with 500$ not able to buy it because it's "insensitive". FML

You worked hard to save up money for it so you should be able to get one even if your mom says its "insensitive" you worked hard to get the money for it so go buy it.

Today, the woman I thought I had friend-zoned dumped me because she has "met someone new." I really like her as a friend but felt zero attraction, so after one date I went out of my way not to give off the wrong signals when talking or meeting.
