He’s a nice enough guy, but this came as a major surprise when talking to my wife of a bit more than a year. He hasn’t been working much since he has some health problems, and I asked how he’s been making money. My wife said “he get’s occasional work in Brazil as a ‘curandeiro” making herbal potions and praying to heal animals, or for women to get pregnant. It’s all white magic, but it is still a shock after a year of marriage and knowing her for 6+ years. Now I know why everyone jokes that he charmed my mother-in-law with witchcraft to convince her to marry him.
