Makes sense. When my girlfriend of three years dumped me, I broke into a happy dance and quoted MLK, "Free at last! Free at last!..." The last year was a bummer.

So wait, did your bf break up with you because of that date? Or did you just cry more over a date than you did over a past relationship? Because if you went on a date with someone while you were in a relationship, and he broke up with you when he found out, you kind of deserve it.

If you broke up with your ex because you were unhappy with the relationship, I can certainly see your point. However, maybe you are just upset because he has moved on, or just because you feel like no one will want you again. Give it a little time.

I think OP once was on a Date and that guy didn't texted her back and Not that sehr was cheating. Maybe she met her now ex right after that specific date and gave him a chance...Sometimes it can happen that you let someone into your life because you feel like he/she is "the best you can do( now ex)" because somebody else did something that make you feel less worth than you are (guy not texting after great date). You maybe allready knew Deep down that your boyfriend wasn't the right person for you, OP :)
