Today, I realized that a few months ago, my parents bought my 12-year-old brother a PS5 with three games. At the same time, when I asked my parents to buy me some books for college, they refused, stating that "they're way too expensive and unnecessary". I'm 19. FML

This is the moment when you realize, that one day, YOU will be the one who decides which retirement home they will end up at. And no need to research which one is actually any good - those are usually mighty expensive, and just like your college textbooks, way too expensive, and also, completely unnecessary.

Today, I'm hopping on a flight to Florida to pay my final respects to a friend. In December I had to attend the funeral of a friend's young daughter who just didn't wake up one day. In the following two weeks I lost a friend to a heart attack, a friend to suicide, and two friends to cancer. Tomorrow I attend my final funeral. FML
