Today, I heard a conversation between my mom and dad. I’m an only child but my mom is 5 months pregnant. My dad was saying, “Don’t worry, this one’s going to be alright.” FML

Maybe your mom has had miscarriages, and this had nothing to do with you. Or maybe you had a health scare in the beginning?

As a pregnant mother of 1, I immediately read that as concerns over pregnancy itself, and/or the actual labor and delivery. your parents obviously love you enough to let you stick around!

my first thought would be that your mother suffered miscarriages or she has a health problem that makes it difficult to carry a baby to full term, meaning they're stillborn or have serious health problems when they're born causing them to die quickly.
