I feel your pain OP. I was in an accident while in college and broke my back. I worked as a server working 65+ hours a week so I could afford to go to college. It's times like that in your life that you forged in the fire and realize your potential. It's ALSO times like that where you realize just how much Percocet you can take and still function. I miss Percocet....
sounds like someone is addicted to some opiates
I CAN QUIT ANYTIME I WANT!!! :-)
He said he "misses" them, which usually means he's not taking them anymore; and who wouldn't miss taking something that took all pain away?
Realize that you're hired to do a job and while this may not be ideal for you, your boss needs to have that work covered. They gave you an opportunity by telling you that you needed to come into work instead of firing you. They have a business to run with customers to service. You're in a right to work state, they have the right to fire you for time missed as they don't need a reason at all. Your injury doesn't qualify for FMLA or any other protections so be thankful they were willing to work with you and your situation.
