Today, I had a job interview at a restauraunt opening up. One manager hypothetically asked me why I should be hired. I said I was more efficient than most. I left to find I'd locked my keys in the car. It took all the managers to help me get my keys out. FML

Today, I had a job interview but couldn't find my car keys. I had searched the entire apartment and had missed the interview. Turns out they were in my pocket the entire time. FML

Today, I had a job interview for a position at a police station. I asked to use the restroom and accidentally opened the wrong door, locking myself in a stairwell. I had to knock on the door until somebody let me out. Safe to say I didn't get the job. FML

Today, I was running late for an important job interview because I couldn't find my keys. I place the keys on my kitchen counter every day to prevent exactly this type of situation. After few minutes and missing my interview, I finally found my keys, in my hand. FML

Today, I went in my car to a very important job interview. I was out of gas, so I had to get some on the way. When i was done pumping, I went to get back in and the door handle broke off on the driver's side. Then I blew a tire on a piece of metal. Needless to say, I lost my chance. FML

Today, I got locked out of a building that I work in (I work night shifts). I locked my phone, wallet, and car keys in the building. I had no way of contacting my boss or getting a ride. I had to walk home at night, almost got hit by a car full of dudes yelling slurs, and had a woman scream at me from the passenger seat of a car. FML

Today, I was running late for work. I was trying to find my car keys, then realized I'd left them in my boyfriend's car. My phone charger was locked in my car, and my phone was dead. I couldn’t get hold of my boss and explain what had happened. I’m fired, aren’t I? FML

why not walk off like its not your car until they leave or call a locksmith.... it would be more efficient than calling managers of a restaurant to your aid .........

hi :) i made an account becus i wanted to comment on my FML. for those of you that doubted me, i actually did get the job & still work at red robin - believe it or not. apparently they thought i ws funny. but mainly just had the urge to respond to #15: it was hypothetical because i HAD written that my interviewer's actually asked me why i should be picked over my best friends (who were all hired before me), if it came down to me or them. however, FML changed my post - not completely sure why since i thought it was a significant detail. but thanks for the grammar check.

Cars can be broken into without causing damage, windows can be left opened a Crack, it leaves more than enough space to get it unlocked or grab the keys.
