Today, and every other birthday I've had, I shared with my cousin whose birthday is 4 days apart from mine. It would be totally fine if I had an opinion on the theme, invitees, and location. Only my cousin gets that privilege apparently. Oh and my presents, if she likes them enough. FML

Have you ever actually stood up for yourself on this? I get the concept of sharing birthdays (never had to, thank goodness) but basically being robbed of your own year after year is RIDICULOUS.

you need to have a talk with your parents cuz the present thing is way out of line. if she doesn't stop taking yours then take some of hers and say 'to bad, my turn' and maybe even a 'kiss my ass and stop taking mine then if you don't like it'. good luck.

Why do you keep attending if you know what's going to happen? Insist on your own party without your cousin, or don't go and get your presents shipped/dropped off to your address.

I agree with previous comments. Talk to parents, explain your position. And stand up for yourself if you like somth bd gifts then get them, do not give up on yourself so easily
