Boxed in

Today, I've recently been able to enjoy my life after a long depressing quarantine. I've been able to go to the gym and train in my favorite activity, boxing. Now I can't train for 2 weeks after having surgery on both my Achilles heel and PRP therapy. Hello again, misery. FML

OP here. Most of y'all know me. This is my 3rd FML posted this year so I got a little streak going. Update: the doctor who performed surgery on me has been hospitalized. I'm not sure why yet. I need a follow-up appointment to get my stitches removed. That being said, my delay may be longer than expected before I can lace the gloves again.

Have you tried chair boxing? It's a great alternative to boxing if you cannot walk. Try your local nursing home for a good address.

No, they are not mutually exclusive. Some vaccinated people can be idiots, but somehow they got the shot(s), but all of those who are eligible for the vaccine and able to get it and don't get it are idiots. There's no way to look at reliable data and the experience of the 1/2 of the American public who did get vaccinated and come to any other conclusion than getting the jab is a must. We're going to lose our normal way of life again because of the other half, the unvaccinated idiots.

2 weeks is a surprisingly short recovery time. The time will fly by and it’ll be over before you know it. Just stay positive!

To get your mind off of boxing, go to YouTube and watch unboxing videos. According to my logic, unboxing is the opposite of boxing and should cancel it out.
