Today, while driving, a spider crawled onto my gearstick. Not being afraid of them, I casually flicked it off. Onto the person sitting next to me. The person evaluating me for my driving test at the time, who happened to be arachnophobic. FML

Oddly enough, we are reading about this on the web.

If the evaluator merely failed you without also setting the car on fire, you got off lightly.

WOW. I though I was the only one who wasn't afraid of spiders....

I hope he didn't fail you. a) not freaking out and driving dangerously cos of a spider and b) hopefully not being distracted and driving dangerously cos he was freaking out = good driver

Today, I woke up after a vicious night out with my homies. I got a feel for my surroundings, and realized that I was in the gearshift of someone's car. Just when I was about to politely bid farewell, the asshole who owned the car flicked me onto his stoned friend in the passenger's seat. FML

i agree. op showed that he wasn't startled while driving qith something that unpredictable. imagine if someone arachnophobic were behind the wheel. accident ahead.

Love the cartoon! But how dare it not have the movie cover of Arachnophobia. :p

NEVER DO THAT WITHOUT KNOWING OTHER'S FEARS! Being an extreme arachnophobiac, you do not want to be in a car with a spider. Sadly, I almost caused my mom to have an accident and I regret putting my family in danger. My mom just got her car out the shop and we have webs everywhere. Just take caution next time Op because phobias can be a very dangerous thing in the wrong place. Fyl

OP didn't know, it wasn't like they purposely flicked the spider on to them. Come on.

I know #63, I didn't mean for this to sound like it's his fault, but I just get so anxious thing about that FML. Someone could have really gotten hurt in this situation and it just annoys me to tears thinking about it...I just want to warn others.

more like **** the life of the person evaluating you.

I recently have grown a fear of spiders. One bit me in my sleep, and I didn't notice or few it until the area started necrotizing. Try to remember not everyone has had such pleasant experiences of the little guys.

Holy shit, if I'd been through that I'd be arachnophobic too. Was everything okay in the end? That shit's terrifying.

**** the other persons life a spider flew at them and they're arachnophobic, maybe be more aware of were u flick spiders
