Content almost refused by staff

Today, the only reason I got to leave the laboratory at 9 pm instead of 11 pm was because, after twelve hours of work, I made a mistake and cross contaminated all 96 of my samples, making it pointless to continue the experiment further. It will take me another two weeks to make up for this. FML.

Our regulations don't allow us to work more than 9 hours a day to try and reduce these kinds of mistakes.

I work at a lab.. I know exactly how you feel. So many hours and days put into experiments and one small thing can destroy it all. I feel for you. Don't worry though, it happens to everyone! Just need to keep trying again. Results will come! :)
