Today, my cat peed on my drawing tablet. I use this to draw commissions for people and I recently took some to pay for his vet bill since he can't stop fighting other male cats. I still need to get the art pieces done. FML

Tumblr is fairly popular, twitter less so, and there are some indie stores dedicated specifically for letting freelance artists make online portfolios for clients to look at and hire them from.

Today, I got my septum piercing stuck in a bag of cinnamon pine cones at Target. My boyfriend was wearing a red shirt with khaki pants, so all the other shoppers probably thought I'd had to call a Target employee over to "cut" me out of the bag. FML

Today, it's been a week since I flew to Scotland to attend a writer's retreat and then go to WorldCon to see friends and try and sell the book I just finished. I tested positive for Covid the first day of the retreat, and every day since. I already missed the retreat. Now it looks like I'll be missing the con, too. Sigh. FML

Today, I drove to the airport and parked in extended stay. As the plane was going down the runway, I tried to spot my car. I found it very quickly, as the car alarm was going off and all its lights were flashing. FML
