Today, is my first day of recovery in a full right arm cast. Broke it on the last possible free day that i had before starting lab work on my masters thesis, for which i waited four months, and now i won't be able to work. Fml

That sucks, OP. Depending on the lab work, could a friend or family member help with whatever you currently can't do, or perhaps a fellow student in exchange for some non-manual help on their own projects?
