Today, I work with young men who are into memes. My workplace uses IDs that are generated from our names. My surname is Sim, my signature is Simp1 and I hear awful porn jokes about it all day. I'm prude and they are disgusting - I asked them to stop but they wouldn't -I'm getting trolled... praying this meme dies. ASAP. FML.

A "simp" is a male who makes himself subservient/submissive to a female. I feel your pain, OP. One of my best friends is named Karen, and she is NOTHING like the archetype.
