Today, I realized that I might not be able to take AP classes next year, despite being totally capable of learning the material. Why? Because my school has a ridiculous policy that involves ignoring the most essential part of my IEP to "simulate a college environment." FML

Welcome to the most ****** up time of your life: "higher" "education". Sarcasm via quotation marks STRONGLY intended.

Yet they ignore the fact that if the college is federally funded you will still have the benefit of an IEP. Get in contact with the Superintendent's office, it won't take much to change that, legally they cannot ignore the IEP for any reason.
