Today, I had just gone to dinner with my husband when approached by a couple asking for money. We didn't have cash so they asked if we would buy their family Jack Stack for dinner. We said ok but turns out they were banned. Had to run out the back when the store told us they trade food for drugs FML

That's why you don't give money to random strangers. If you really want to help out, donate to a legitimate charity or volunteer. One-off handouts like this just contribute to a problem.

Kansas City is notorious for 'beggars'. It's a career for some of these people. The city knows it's a problem but refuses to do anything about it.
