Today, I got all my wisdom teeth out. Have you ever thrown up after mouth surgery? Stomach acid in your bloody gum holes is just as fun as it sounds. FML

Oh my lanta! Hope you feel better!

Oh man. Getting wisdom teeth out is bad enough. Doing anything afterwards hurts, I can't imagine how throwing up would feel.

I threw up after having mine out cause my mom was determined to make me eat. It's not fun at all. But hey all the ice cream you could want.

Oh crap. I'm getting mine out soon. All four of them. Now I'm even more paranoid.

I know a trick to fix the vomiting issue. The usual reason people vomit after mouth surgery is because while the surgeon is working, blood drains down your throat. Despite what some vamp idiots think, the human stomach can't digest blood on it's own, but you can fix the problem. Milk contains enzymes that will break down the blood proteins, settling your stomach. I had all my wisdom teeth cut out and the milk worked like a charm. Just drink a small glass when you get home.

Make your own salt water solution to rinse your mouth out after you eat or drink anything bar plain water, take your painkillers, and if they hurt as badly or worse after a few days, go back to the dentist to check for infection. You'll be fine :) And hey, after they're out, no more pain or wisdom tooth infections!

Funny, I submitted this! They took out that I found I inherited my dads allergy to general anesthetic that's why I threw up. Also I'm not in Wisconsin! Lol thanks for the sympathy though

Ooh, yuck! I may have to get mine out and this story is not reassuring... though, my mom's removal went smoothly so I'm hoping mine will follow suit. FYL, OP, and I hope you don't throw up any more.
