Being married, ore evening dating for that matter, isn't an achievement. There's nothing cool about being codependent and having a fear of being alone. that's essential the premise of marriage.

Show it anywayWhat's your point? Some people find love faster than others. I've been single for about 2.5 years now and it doesn't bother me. Just be happy for your friend.

Why are you trying to compare yourself to her? You have no way of knowing the ins and outs of her situation and divorce. Maybe she spent ages festering before her divorce and decided to take risks and live a little faster once she was free to.

That's not everyone's cup of tea though, there's no need to feel threatened by her perceived progress.

Strongly agree with #3. Highly possible that it was a rebound or even an affair. Also, perhaps you weren't ready to meet someone yourself. Be patient and don't rush; you will find someone again.
makes me feel like she is getting married to spite her ex-husband ;)
Well I'm sure she didn't meet the love of her life sitting at home taking picture of her cat.

OR she's on the rebound and divorce number 2 is on the horizon. People aren't as happy as Facebook makes them out to be.

Why can't people just be happy that the people they care about are happy instead of always asking why they don't have that?
