Today an A/C valve failed in our new lab in the ceiling and flooded my lab near 500k of equipment. Then another piece of equipment failed and has to be shipped back for 10k worth of maintenance. The final cherry on top the large 10k air compressor for our lab stopped working. FML

Today, it was my mother’s birthday. I was on my way to pick up her cake but I got into a car accident and ended up in the emergency room. When I call her to explain what happened, she called me an useless fuck for ruining her birthday by not bringing the cake. She’s yet to ask if I'm okay. FML

Today, I tried to suspend a junior accountant for turning up to work late and stoned three separate times. Turns out his uncle is a part owner of the business, so the accountant got to smile his smug little grin as I got yelled at for not minding my own business. FML
