Sounds like you both got over one another pretty quickly, though I'd hazard a guess that neither of you considered your relationship to be serious, if you're dating again after only three days. Better be prepared for more encounters if you live in a small town. Same goes for new guy, if that doesn't last, as well.

True. He could have been there trying to get over her, and her turning up made him feel worse. Especially since she'd moved on already. If that was the case, this is more his FML than OP's. If they were both there on dates, they should chalk it up as one of countless awkward moments life will throw at them, and move on.

Today, one of my roommates bought new cowboy boots. He insists on wearing them indoors. Every morning he paces up and down the linoleum areas of the apartment with the boots on until he absolutely has to go to work, waking us up with the clomping noises. I and my other roommate work night and graveyard shifts. FML

Today, my boyfriend called me in the middle of the night and told me he got mugged and was on his way to the hospital. I told him to fuck off because that was a horrible April Fool's joke. He asked if I wanted to talk to the paramedic. I told him to stop bothering me. Turns out it was true. FML

Today, I was driving when a guy in a truck swerved in front of me. I didn't realize I'd sworn until I'd come to a red light and my one year old daughter yelled her own version of what I said. She now yells "Chicken in the hole!" whenever the car comes to a stop. FML
