Watching **** on an 80" would be shit. Even if it was full HD you'd still have only 1920x1080 resolution, same as most computer screens use this day at around 22-24", it'd just be streched four times.
A projector and a screen isn't the same thing, it will blur, a screen will pixellate.
**** comes in very high def, **** is always the leader in new technology, was one of the first things to go big on VHS, Internet, DVD, blue ray and even 3D, so I'm sure there is **** for 80"
Actually!!! BluRay was owned by a company that refused to let **** use their creation for selling more of their stuff. That's why BluRay failed the first time ^_^

Being barely able to afford the cost of the tv could be that he used savings that was supposed to be for a family vacation or something of that nature. Using a credit card, his or not, would only make matters worse and create debt.
If he wasn't smart enough to go with a screen that didn't obstruct doorways he most likely maxed the card out to get it.

Congrats for marrying an idiot... :-) No, really... My boyfriend wants a big flat screen TV, too, but he's waiting until he can afford it, and he has promised me to buy one that fits in our living room...
