honestly for the first week or 2, when there's new jobs, I agree with you. but then just checking for new jobs once or twice a day is sufficient.
Employers are literally begging people to work but you're unable to find any job at all? I find that hard to believe. My only guess is that you're holding out for a job that lives up to your standards/expectations. That's not how the world works, sorry.
Forget the debate about job hunting. How do you lose a mop?

there's no way you've spent all day every day for over a year at a computer/out applying. if you're not working, and he's supporting you, you really should be doing your share of cleaning. there's jobs to be had even if they're not what you want.
I agree with Royal- job hunting especially during COVID doesn’t require 24/7 You obviously got lazy and collected unemployment.
