Today, my boss asked me what language I was speaking. I was clearly speaking English, but apparently, "indifferent" is too big a word for him to understand. I don't know how he got into a management position. FML

I'm not understanding what the logical connection between not knowing the word "indifferent" and not distinguishing "your" from "you're" is. One is grammar and the other is knowledge of basic vocabulary. You're comparing apples and oranges.

It seems as though there are typically idiots in middle management. My guess is because intelligent people would question the back asswards directives from upper management too much, where as an idiot will enforce blindly.
