Today, I started a part-time job at a nursery. One of the kids asked me if I was single, so I explained to her that I am with another woman. My boss fired me on the spot for "acting inappropriately". FML

That is discrimination and illegal in the UK I believe. They asked, you answered. It isn't like you said you had sex. You were not even pushing your view on them, you were just being honest. I wonder if your boss would have reacted that way if you'd been in a heterosexual relationship..

That sounds like discrimination. I assume when the kid asked, you just told him/her that you were dating a woman and that's what got you fired. I hope you sue.

Today, my orthodontist thought it would be a good idea to put braces on the teeth in the very back. One bracket popped off twice, after which he shoved a metal band in my mouth onto one of my teeth, cutting my gums, and causing gushing blood. Now, I can’t eat anything unless it’s baby food and I have a lisp. FML

Today, I was at my usual coffee shop when I overheard a couple at the next table arguing about how to break up. They decided to have a “Breakup Party” and invited everyone around them, including me, right there and then. I ended up eating free cake while watching their weird, messy breakup unfold. FML
