Content almost refused by staff

Today, I received a call from an unknown number during school. Knowing that my phone's voicemail had not yet been set up, I rejected the call. After spending an hour setting my voicemail up, I found out that it was my employer for the pool I'll be working at this summer. FML

OP was in class. Why would you answer the phone in the middle of class if it isn't a number you recognize?

Just call back at a later time and explain the situation. I had a similar situation before and worried myself over it when it wasn't a big deal. Just remember that number for next time op!
