You didn't provide all of the information, yet you're upset that people assumed a scenario? Wtf?! The fml should be, "Today, after months of talking about going to Alaska together for the summer, my boyfriend is going without me. FML." You don't get to be pissy when you didn't even try to provide half of the story, obviously no one knew what his deal was! Your version of the fml, however, insinuates that he isn't allowed to go anywhere without you. BUT OUR BAD FOR NOT READING WHAT YOU DIDN'T WRITE, ASSZ

Don't be immature. You are not entitled to a holiday just because you are his girlfriend. If you need a holiday, plan and pay for one yourself. Look, I get that you're disappointed but it's not like you were included in the planning of this trip and then told no. If your relationship is a good one, there will be plenty of other opportunities to travel together and you should be happy for him.
