Today, my mom got a new puppy and named her Olivia. Which would be fine, if that wasn't the name I had been planning to give my baby, who's due in 3 weeks. Thanks mom. FML

Personally I still think you should name your daughter that, despite the fact its now the dogs name too. Hopefully your daughter will be along a lot longer then the dog anyway

Talk her out of it, otherwise you could hit some of the baby name sites! Our you could just name your daughter Olivia still and use a nickname. My sister named her daughter Olivia but everyone calls her Livvy.

thats my daughters name too! great choice. you should still name her that and just dont bring her.around grandma, thatll show her tell her you wouldnt want the dog and the girl to get confused
