Today, my doctor told me my ankle has been fractured since last week. I've been helping drywall the basement, and trying to walk up and down stairs for a week. My husband has been telling me to man up, and it's not that bad. FML

OMG! I am the person who posted it! My husband isn't an asshole! Well not ususally! LOL We went to the doctors immediately when i did it and they thought it was just a sprain. I could NOT walk on it for 4 days, and the results just came back yesterday. I was helping around the house, but I was limping. He was making fun of me because he thought it was just a sprain. Yes, I make him sandwiches! And he makes me them too! I have a picture if you want to see it, so you'll know I'm not faking!!!!

I fractured my foot before and didn't realize till a couple months after when it really started to hurt

incredible how your doctor knew you fractured your ankle a week ago...also if you were able to walk on it and hang drywall...you werent in that much pain...stop complaining

I guess you did not read my extra post. I could not walk on my foot for 4 days. I went to the doctor's office on the 22nd and did not get the results back until the following week due to Christmas! And by the time I did get the results I was hobbling on it.

wow, i fractured my ankle too and it bothered me for a year. and then the doctors figured it out and i had to get surgery. and skip skiing and volleyball. and have crutches for a month. FML

that happend to my dad he broke it and my mom made him move 80 pound rocks and work he never went to a doctor. he even spun his arm to make it feel better
