Today, after having went through immense knee pain to finish out the baseball season, I found out I have a concussion and won't get to play for the rest of the season anyway. FML.

I'll admit I never did the sports thing as a kid/ever, but I'm pretty sure one of the major rules when it comes to athletic activities, you AREN'T supposed to force your way through pain. Pain is a warning- it means something is wrong, and not listening is a great way to wind up with a career ending injury or even a disabling one. Sports based series have a lot of cases of how badly what you did can end, so I suggest watching some to get a better idea of what it could have cost you.

Today, I discovered that whenever my house is affected by a blackout, the cooler for my Xbox will turn on by itself when it's fixed. My Xbox cooler flashes repeatedly, alternating between several bright colors, when it turns on. If I'm asleep when it happens, which is often the case, it wakes me up. Every. Time. FML

She pulls out her phone and says, “So, care to explain this?” It was one of my TikToks from ages ago of me singing the "N-word" over and over again. I forgot I had that. FML

Today, I got a report telling me how I had handled a mystery shopper at work. In this report, I found out that instead of saying, "Thank you" I'd said, "Have a nice day, take care." This kept me from getting a $150 bonus. FML

Today, I finally got the cast off my leg after being unable to walk for 6 weeks, watching daytime TV or playing my husband's Xbox all day. The second the plaster came off, I tried to stand up, tripped over the doctor's foot and broke the apparently still not fully healed leg again in the same spot. FML
