Today, I went to the gym for the first time in months and couldn't figure out how to use any of the equipment. FML

People don’t usually mind explaining if you ask politely, in my experience. Failing that, you could ask an employee to give you pointers. Failing *that*, stick around and wait for someone to use one of the machines and watch what they’re doing?

Must have been Econofitness. There's typically one (1) employee at each location, and he/she's at the desk taking reservations for the massage tables and unlocking the tanning booths.
