Cats are Satan's Minions

Today, I learned that our cats love to knock over glasses and cups, particularly if they have liquid in them. The latest victim of their antics? My expensive computer keyboard. FML

Those cats are so clever that they placed liquid-filled cups adjacent to your expensive keyboard? That's brilliant! If some human were to set the cups there, well, that would be just idiotic.

Knocking things over is a sign that the cat is bored. You may want to get some toys for it or something to keep it entertained

I was at the computer at the time. The few times I spilled, my keyboard walked out fine. I got overconfident.

Sometimes even having lots of toys doesn't keep cats from getting up to mischief. My cat used to like pulling over cups and glasses, even when she had toys. She's matured out of that, thank goodness.

You deserve it for having liquid near your expensive keyboard. You set yourself up for that headache when you said that your cats like to knock things over with liquids in them.

Owns a cat. Is surprised by cat behaviour.

This is a thing that ALL cats do. They're curious and mischievous. Whether it's your phone into the toilet or a cup of juice all over your console. They do it to see what happens. Talking from experience here.

OP here. It was my computer, and it was just the keyboard. Every time I accidentally spilled liquid on it, it didn't malfunction. It's mechanism failed this time.

Welcome to Earth. This is a cat. They like to knock things over.

Maybe try cups with lids on?
