Today, I was told to work 2nd and 3rd shift. Why? Because I was "too young" to go to an office party at 3rd shift where there will be alcohol. Im 21 and have worked here for 3 years. They just forgot my birthday 3 days ago. FML.

Well set them straight, tell them you turned 21 a few days ago so therefore you're an adult who is just as allowed to be there as everyone else. Also, even if you weren't 21, I don't see that as a viable excuse to banning you from the party. Being under 21 means you can't drink or be supplied alcohol, it does not mean you're not allowed to be around it, unless the party is at a bar or something.

It makes sense if you're one of the youngest employees and they need someone to work. even though you're of legal age some might think you're "too young" to drink
