Today, I was questioned by police for forcing a 12-year-old to get in my car. That 12-year-old is my daughter, who refused to get in until I agree to buy her a highly expensive purse just to become popular. FML

There exists no gene for "bratty and misbehaved attention-seeker". Kids learn to become like that as they age. Considering the fact that she is 12, I'd say it was the way she was raised, or the people her parents let her 'hang' with. Just saying...

Because 12 year olds can get periods. I got mine at 12 and carried a purse because I needed pads and stuff.

You need to man up, I don't care if you're a woman but you should never give in to a child's demands if they're over the top. A slap on the face always did it for me.

Yep had same problem but I was detained and questioned for wharf seemed an eternity. Even after my 5 boys told them what it was all about. American justice system guilty till proven innocent.

Easy fix drive off without her and go around the block and watch what she does. That purse won't be all that important anymore.
