I'm pretty sure you can't fake cancer. You weren't just giving her all your money were you? Although if my grandma told me she had cancer I would. You're a good person

Good, yes. But stupid to not ask to see invoices for the payments from the hospital and to go with her. If I was paying for it, I'd be in contact with her doctor.

As someone who's mother has gone through cancer twice, I find what your grandma did to be very offensive. Although I am curious as to how you could spend your income on a hospital bill that didn't exist? And I don't mean, "how could you be tricked into that" I mean, literally, how is that possible since they presumably wouldn't have an actual bill on your grandmother to be paid off.
