Today, I was shopping with my baby daughter when an older woman came up to me. She glared and said, "You know, if you kids learned how to keep your legs closed, you wouldn't be a mother at 16." I'm 25. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Judgement Day
Today, I was walking through the grocery store with my new baby daughter, when an old woman came up to me and spat, "If you whores would keep your legs together, you wouldn't be a mom at fifteen." I'm eighteen. FML
I'm still young
Today, I was sitting in a waiting room with my two-month-old son. A sweet little old lady came up to me and said, "Maybe if you knew how to keep your legs closed, you wouldn't have a baby at 15, slut." I'm 23 and married. FML
People of Walmart
Today, at Walmart, a crazy old woman bitched me out for being pregnant. She kept following me around, calling me a stupid teen slut and saying she hoped my baby died so I could live a "normal life." I'm 26 and just very short. FML
You tried
Today, while shopping, I saw a little girl and her mom. The girl was pouting so I tried to cheer her up by asking her if she was a princess, because she was so pretty. She smiled but her mom looked at me with disgust and told me to, "Get lost, pedo." I'm a 17-year-old girl. FML
RUDE!
Today, I was at Aéropostale with some friends when I noticed a woman glaring at me. When we got to the checkout, the woman still had her eyes on me, so I asked why she was staring. She snapped, "If you had kept your legs closed, you wouldn't be pregnant." I'm not pregnant. FML
Today, I was in line at the store behind a lady and her young daughter. Trying to be polite I smiled at the little girl. She burst into tears asking her mommy 'what is wrong with that ladies teeth'. Apparently braces on a 25 year old is not 'kid friendly'. FML
All my fault
Today, I went clothes shopping. I took my little daughter into the dressing room while I tried some clothes on. She somehow managed to open the door while I was changing. A lady outside then bitched me out for "exposing" myself to her kids. FML
Today, while in line at the supermarket, I told the lady behind me that she had a cute baby. She shot me a disgusted look and straight up accused me of being a pedophile. FML
Today, I had to explain to my son why it is not okay to slap old women's butts. He's 16. FML
External validation
Today, I was grocery shopping, feeling good about myself, until when I was waiting in line at the checkout, a small kid in his mother's arms in front turned to look straight at me and said, "Ewwwww." FML

Even if you were 16, she shouldn't have just come up and said that. People are unbelievably rude. Seriously, it's none of their business, screw off.

Hm, yeah, overall, this is more of a compliment - just not what the old bat said. The old lady was indeed a bitch about it, but the fact remains that you still look young. In a few more years, it will start really paying off for the rest of your life. The only bad part about it is when people couple it with their stupidity. I get that stuff too, and it's annoying as ****, but I just keep in mind that at the end of the day, I'll be looking younger than those folks will and they will be jealous of it. You're lucky to have the young look (:

Being a father of a one year old boy at 23, it probably would have been a REALLY hard feat to hold my tongue and walkaway. Probably worse being a woman though because she basically called you a ***** and more than likely was referring to your daughter as a bastard child. ******* Assholes these days. On that note though, I feel like having kids in your twenties as opposed to thirties and fourties does have its advantages. Seems like the bigger the generation gap, the harder it is for children to identify in their parents, and vice versa. I was raised by my grandmother and I'll tell you, the differences in customs, ethics, political views, religion, etc, was so diverse that it made for a fairly difficult time. But we'll see when my kids 18 and I'm 40 :D

I would have said back to her "You know if you would learn to keep your mouth shut, I wouldn't have to kick the shit out of you."

I'm 26 and I hate it when people think I'm under 18. I understand you there. You should have replied something like: "And if you were able to keep your mouth shut, you wouldn't have made such an ass out of yourself."

Gah, how incredibly RUDE. My boyfriend and I babysit my niece and nephew sometimes, and we get pretty weird looks from people, like the other day we took my niece, who's 2, to the park, and this older woman looked at us and said knowingly "that's what happens when you don't use protection."
