Today, my friends and I went paintballing. The instructor showed us the sound of an unloaded gun by shooting at my face. It wasn't unloaded. FML

Honestly, I would report him. That is incredibly unsafe, you aren't supposed to aim at people's faces regardless.

wow. That's one bad instructor. I hope you're doing well and the bruise isn't that painfull!

That must've been very paintful

Well, at least he doesn't work at an actual shooting range...

Amazing, i want to see that painted face :p

Treat every weapon as if it is loaded and never point it at something you don't intend to shoot. Pointing it at your head is beyond moronic. OP should have stopped him instead of allowing it.

Sue, Seriously don't even hesitate sue the company. Like some comments never point a gun at ones face regardless if it's empty. There's always that change an ammunition is in the chamber and this is a clear but proof. I bet he said he checked it before and cartridge was empty. Obviously one was in the chamber..also he's an instructor thy should have more training on gun care. Thank god he doesn't work for a gun range with real guns.

I sense a lawsuit in his immediate future. Seriously, this is one case where I fully support suing that crap out of him. You could easily have lost an eye/been blinded.

*the crap. Sorry, it's late and I'm tired XD

That sounds awful. I hope that instructor got in major trouble.

You should've shot him in the kneecap, and then said "Sorry, I thought it was unloaded."

This instructor was trying to be a smart ass. I would report him the the owner and maybe file assault charges against him. This is the most unsafe and unprofessional act I have ever heard of from a paintball instructor. As someone pointed out earlier, a paintball can take out an eye, that's why they make the masks,
