I'll give both of you the benefit of the doubt that you both were virgins. Assuming you're telling the truth, it is quite possible one of you had a cold sore, and it will come up that you have herpes even if you have a cold sore and you went down on each other and gave it to each other. I know people who've had that happen to them when just a person had a cold sore on their mouth. But yes, both of your lives suck.

yes but OPs husband or OP could have had oral sex prior to marriage on someone else who did have genital herpes. you can get herpes from oral sex.

@shanks0341, it is under the same category as some people have said. listen, i have friends who caught herpes from oral so i would know what i'm talking about, especially when i hear it from friends who have experienced it without having actual sex with someone either. one of my friends told me she caught herpes when this guy had a cold sore on his lip even tho she didn't have sex with him when she caught it. it's type 2. @manbizzle @catatonicsleep, agreed.
