Creepy dude

By janegeorge - This FML is from back in 2015 but it's good stuff - Canada - Kanata

Today, a guy called me out of the blue. Apparently, he'd copied my number from a sheet we'd filled out in church. He doesn't understand why I'm "overreacting". FML

You ARE overreacting. He just called you, it's not like he raped you or something.

He could have just as easily used a phone book, which is perfectly legal. He's not being a creep, he's just showing interest.

From some of these comments, I'd definitely never wanna be any of y'all's friends. Y'all are just as crazy as you claim this guy to be.

That's what one saying! They kid called her... Not a big deal!!!

Phone numbers are practically public information.. Like addresses. I understand he took down your number without you giving it to him but this doesn't seem crazy stalker freak show to me. He got your number and called you. Calm down. Obviously it's someone who you aren't interested in which makes it "creepy". If it was someone you WERE interested in, you wouldn't be complaining

Get his number. Get a guy friend to write the number on the wall of the nearest public men's room. He'll be sure to understand your reaction then.

People like OP almost make you want to draft up a waiver form for people to sign whenever you try to have a conversation with them. That way you might not end up on FML, or reported to whomever. It seems like more and more people are extremely sensitive and/or paranoid about every little thing. Yet, some of these same people, maybe even including OP have information on social media far more personal than a phone number.

maybe you're overreacting because you leave you digits everywhere? Next time someone will read your number off of a bathroom wall. (To clarify someone will put them there "for a joke")

"Overreacting" would be buying a handgun after getting a restraining order. But seriously, that's sims creepy boundary issues

another reason why, I can't stand churches.
