Today, I had to take an emergency contraceptive. I was talking to my boyfriend about it, and I told him that my stomach really hurt. His response? "Aw. That's just the baby dying." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, after being admitted to the emergency room for severe abdominal pain, my boyfriend shouted out in front of my parents, "At least she isn't pregnant!" FML
Panic!
Today, I told my boyfriend that I've missed my period, and that I think I might be pregnant. He started panicking and ended up puking in the toilet. FML
Nice guy
Today, I was rushed to the emergency room in crippling pain, thanks to a very dangerous cluster of cysts on my ovaries that could rupture at any time. My boyfriend took this news as my way of denying him sex and broke up with me for "going to obscene lengths" to emasculate him. FML
Today, I told my husband I was pregnant, then he fainted. FML
Awww Sweaty, don't worry
Today, my boyfriend called me, panicking. Apparently he had a headache, but wasn't concentrating on what tablets he grabbed, and accidentally took tablets for "relief of period pain". He was convinced he was going to grow ovaries overnight. FML
Bad news
Today, I called my ex and told him I was pregnant with his child. He was thrilled, going on and on about how much he wanted to be a dad. I had to tell him I was going to abort it. FML
Silver linings
Today, I went to the doctor and found out that I am infertile. When I called my boyfriend of 2 years, with whom I was hoping to have a future, to talk to him about it, all he said was, "So does this mean I don't have to wear a condom anymore?" FML
Today, I told my husband that while he was away I had had a miscarriage. His response? "If you can't take care of our baby while it is still inside you, how can I trust you to take care of it when it comes out?" FML
Today, I found out I was pregnant. When I told my boyfriend that I couldn't believe this happened, he said, "I'm not going to lie, I didn't always pull out fast." FML
Today, I discovered my boyfriend has been slipping me abortion pills to "supplement" my regular birth control. FML

well did you tell him you were going to do take the "morning after I'm a dumb ***** pill"? maybe he was against it. always use a condom or take the pill to be proactive against actually making a baby.

Maybe now you will have a plan A because THAT guy could potentially be the father of your child.

it's a shame your mother didn't have that pill. she would be so much happier without such a burden like you

Lashing out may make you feel better but it's childish. What gives you the right to call a stranger an unwanted burden? My younger sister was unplanned and unsuccessfully prevented and she was by far a burden. You wouldn't understand the psychological effects that that brings, and your so small minded I couldn't find words simple enough words to explain how wrong you are. Have a wonderful weekend.

a child is a gift. but to some, they feel-it's a burden. if you have unprotected sex then be prepared for the consequences. taking that pill was the same as saying I don't want to be burdened.

She was prepared for the consequences. She took a step to prevent having to either make the (generally rather agonising) choice to have an abortion or to go through with pregnancy and raise a child, something that would change her life forever in both positive and negative ways. Taking emergency contraception: the responsible thing to do!

The morning after pill causes your body to have a flood of hormones. It can give you nasty side effects.

Is it not obvious that he understands what an emergency contraceptive is but is making a joke anyway? Either OP doesn't understand that he was joking or can't take a joke. Anyway, win for the boyfriend, keep him, he has a good sense of humour.

Regardless of his sense of humor, he doesn't care that she is in pain.

stevenmx86, your an asshole do you want a child to come into this world when the mother isnt ready? the baby would have lived a miserable life with a father like that. there wasnt a baby in the first place so wtf are you on about?

I'm sorry, but is adoption no longer an option? I must not have gotten that memo. If the 'mother' (if that's what you want to call her) isn't 'ready' (as you so eloquently put it), then perhaps she shouldn't have sex. If she wants to continue participating in coitus, then maybe she should be more responsible with it's practice.
