Today, I had to take an emergency contraceptive. I was talking to my boyfriend about it, and I told him that my stomach really hurt. His response? "Aw. That's just the baby dying." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, after being admitted to the emergency room for severe abdominal pain, my boyfriend shouted out in front of my parents, "At least she isn't pregnant!" FML
Panic!
Today, I told my boyfriend that I've missed my period, and that I think I might be pregnant. He started panicking and ended up puking in the toilet. FML
Nice guy
Today, I was rushed to the emergency room in crippling pain, thanks to a very dangerous cluster of cysts on my ovaries that could rupture at any time. My boyfriend took this news as my way of denying him sex and broke up with me for "going to obscene lengths" to emasculate him. FML
Today, I told my husband I was pregnant, then he fainted. FML
Awww Sweaty, don't worry
Today, my boyfriend called me, panicking. Apparently he had a headache, but wasn't concentrating on what tablets he grabbed, and accidentally took tablets for "relief of period pain". He was convinced he was going to grow ovaries overnight. FML
Bad news
Today, I called my ex and told him I was pregnant with his child. He was thrilled, going on and on about how much he wanted to be a dad. I had to tell him I was going to abort it. FML
Silver linings
Today, I went to the doctor and found out that I am infertile. When I called my boyfriend of 2 years, with whom I was hoping to have a future, to talk to him about it, all he said was, "So does this mean I don't have to wear a condom anymore?" FML
Today, I told my husband that while he was away I had had a miscarriage. His response? "If you can't take care of our baby while it is still inside you, how can I trust you to take care of it when it comes out?" FML
Today, I found out I was pregnant. When I told my boyfriend that I couldn't believe this happened, he said, "I'm not going to lie, I didn't always pull out fast." FML
Today, I discovered my boyfriend has been slipping me abortion pills to "supplement" my regular birth control. FML

There was no baby. That's not how an emergency contraceptive pill works.

Emergency contraceptives are not an abortion in a pill (they're ONLY effective if she ISN'T already pregnant) They simply prevent the egg from being fertilized which is why it's recommended to take plan b within the first 48 hours after an incident. If your already pregnant the pill won't harm the baby. That's just not how it works.

Agreed with #5. Don't worry, OP. Plan B prevents conception and is not abortion. It sucks to hear that though; just educate your boyfriend! :)

Irresponsible.. If you can't handle the responsibility of a child, don't have sex. YDI.

I am very glad you are still 16. It's not too late to grow a brain. 1) people who don't want children are allowed to have sex 2) it is actually very responsible to take the morning after pill if you don't want a pregnancy.

DJeePee - I'm going to have to disagree with you. Of course teenagers are "allowed" to have sex, but many (most, I would argue) are not mentally or financially responsible enough to be a parent, and teenagers by their nature are impulsive enough to engage in sex without considering the potential serious consequences. I'm actually heartened by the fact that this 16 year old is thinking this way. Kudos to you.

There are people who aren't teenagers who don't want kids, you know, or even just don't want kids *right now*. Including married couples. Including married couples who already have children. Do people who say that sort of thing seriously think that, say, a couple who have decided to wait a couple of years before they have kids after they get married should just not have sex for two years? "Yeah, we're not taking a honeymoon, we don't want kids yet." Or that if you have any kind of health problem that could make having kids dangerous or could be passed down, so you're choosing to avoid the potential risks, you're never allowed to have sex even if you get married?

Still bullshit logic. There are people who aren't ready for kids at ANY age. Saying don't have sex unless you're ready for kids is highly unrealistic.
