Today, I found out that if you accidentally step on your boss's dog's tail, yes, you can get fired. But not because you stepped on the dog's tail. You didn't say sorry. FML

the op didn't do it on purpose, believe it or not he/she can't watch every step that they take and dogs are notorious for getting in the way by laying down in the middle of the floor where heavy foot traffic takes place, sadly op's boss is an asshole fyl op

Yeah OP's life sucks for stepping on the dog's tail. I step on my cat's feet at least once a week because she keeps walking in my way. But it hurts them more because we are so heavy... Seriously the dog probably whined and OP should at least say sorry to their boss and try to act like they feel bad for the dog.

I don't understand how some people have the biggest difficulty in saying sorry, especially for ACCIDENTLY hurting someone else, whether it be a person or a dog. Sorry should be the FIRST thing you say when it happens.
