Ever since condoms became condoms people have found other uses for them. Such as water collection and holding(since ww2), or simply putting them over the barrel of their firearms to prevent water intrusion(this has been many a hunters savior and actually dates back hundreds of years when condoms where made of goat intestine). They are not always used for their intended purpose.
