Today, my mom is going with me for a general check-up at the doctor's office. She just told me she had a nightmare last night that she went to the doctor with me, and he told her I'm pregnant. I am pregnant. I was about to tell her. FML

Today, I mentioned to my mum that one of my friends is pregnant. She decided I was lying, that I'm the one who's actually pregnant, and that I'm going to get checked out by a doctor. FML
Today, my girlfriend told me she was pregnant. She also said I'm going to be an uncle. FML
Today, I sent my mom an email with "Bad news" as the subject. At the end of her reply, she said, "And don't scare me! I thought you were going to tell me you're pregnant!" I AM pregnant, and wanted to surprise her on her birthday. Guess I should get her something less disappointing. FML
Today, I was told by my wife that we were going to be parents. We are both females. FML
Today, I went to the doctor's office for a minor cold, and left with a diagnosis of pregnancy. FML
Today, I happily announced to my parents that I'm pregnant. My dad later handed me a printout containing a list of nearby abortion clinics. FML
Today, I told my husband I was pregnant, then he fainted. FML
Today, I took my daughter to the hospital for a few tests, and it turns out that she's pregnant. She has always said that she doesn't want kids, but I hoped that already being pregnant might change her mind. She called to schedule an abortion during the drive back home. FML
Today, I finally decided to tell my mother, a former Miss North Carolina winner, that I was several weeks pregnant. She immediately burst into tears and hugged me. She kept saying, "Thank god, thank god." At first I was relieved. Then she said, "I thought you were just getting fat." FML
Today, my husband jolted in bed and while still half-asleep said, "I had a nightmare; I dreamt we had a kid." I'm 8 months pregnant. FML

How the hell do you know that the OP isn't married? How is the OP being pregnant "a good reason to wait until marriage to have sex?" How do YOU know that the OP's pregnancy is a bad thing? Good job making an ass out of yourself by assuming. And stop using "I'm waiting for marriage" as an excuse, we all know that no guy wants you because you are a dead ringer for Carrot Top.

"It's nice to see someone besides myself who actually has self-control over her own body." This is the only post by her that bothered me. I have plenty of self-control over my body. That is why I CHOSE to have sex with my boyfriend. It was just an asinine assumption to make. Oh, you have sex before marriage. That means you can't control your body. Just because you have sex, it doesn't mean you are a terrible person.

Actually couples who have sex pre marriage are less likely to have problems. You could marry someone and find out you are totally sexually incompatible, which is a huge problem and is going to cause many other problems. Sex can help a couple learn a lot about each other. While I do think 16 is too young to have sex, I also don't think waiting until marriage is quite necessary.

i like that the FML in this isn't that you're a pregnant teenager with no future, but that you're mom had a dream that you were pregnant and now you don't want to tell her...? because it'll be harder to tell her now that she's had that dream.

it not only self control. but your religious beliefs also. my boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months and have discussed that we're waiting till marriage. its all about your morals, religion and belief.
