Today, I was walking with my boyfriend down the street and a really hot guy walked past with no shirt on. While distracted by his hardened stomach muscles, I promptly walked into a pole, then became single. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was walking down the street with my friend, one I walk down every day, and I saw a really cute guy nearby. I felt like I looked better than usual, so I turned my head to offer a smile, and walked right into a pole. The impact was strong enough to send me falling to the floor. FML
Today, I was on my run, running past the home of the very attractive guy in my English class. This time he was outside. As I was running I casually waved, he waved back, but because I was distracted, I didn't notice a rock on the sidewalk and ended up tripping and pantsing myself. FML
Hey guys!
Today, I went to the beach. While I was swimming, I noticed a few really hot guys passing. Trying to be sexy, I slowly got out of the water, showing off my body. I showed a bit more than I expected when I realized my bikini bottom had fallen off. FML
Headshot
Today, I was walking down the street hand in hand with my girlfriend. I couldn't help but stare at a gorgeous girl as she bent down to pick something up. It was such a great sight, I didn't notice the metal telephone pole directly in my path. FML
Like tears in rain
Today, while I was on a walk, I saw my boyfriend; since it was raining, I thought it would be romantic to run up to him and kiss him. I ended up breaking his arm because I knocked him over. FML
On Target, almost
Today, I was walking through Target when I was pulled aside by a very attractive girl who began kissing me. She stopped, because I wasn't who she thought I was. Disappointed, I turned around to see her very angry, very large boyfriend behind me. FML
Today, I was on a subway with my boyfriend and it was stopping so I grabbed the pole for support. I felt another hand grabbing onto the pole knowing it was my boyfriend's. Without looking I carressed and tickled his hand. I turned around to smile at my boyfriend. The hand wasn't his. FML
Today, while walking on the sidewalk with my boyfriend, I slipped and fell. Not only did he not help me get up or ask if I was okay, he got mad at me for embarrassing him in public. FML
Victim blaming needs to die
Today, I was hit on by a guy while I was walking my dog. He said some crude stuff about my chest. I called my husband to pick me up, and after he'd got me my husband blamed me for it, saying I should dress more conservatively. I was wearing a tank top with a zip up hoodie (unzipped) over it, jeans, and flip flops. FML
Better off
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me because I took a walk without asking for permission. He thought guys would be hitting on me the entire walk, and that I chose to go alone to pick up numbers. FML

I'm sure you'd feel the exact same way if your boyfriend did this with a woman. Men doing this is something every woman bitches about ENDLESSLY. Women seem to think there's a double standard where when a man does something it's "wrong" and when a woman does something it's "ok". Then women wonder why men don't respect or trust them. It's because they can't because of double-standards like that. Worse yet, you're from my neck of the woods.

If you're so entranced at looking at some guy's abs, then YDI. I can understand just glancing a person over or looking for a couple seconds, but what you did is obviously more and I would be kind of upset if my boyfriend did that to me. I'm sorry, but you should learn not to stare.

I'll probably get my head bitten off for saying this, but... There are some (few) people out there who, once they find the right person, don't care about looking at anyone else and therefore just don't do it. I'm one of those people and so is my boyfriend. Of course, I'm not saying the OP and her ex were in that situation, because they weren't. But not everyone gets thrills from checking out other people while they're with their boyfriend/girlfriend.

Haha, oh my, I bet he looks at every bit of cleavage he can see when you're not around.

You deserve the pole thing, but if he broke up with you over looking, he's a hypocrite.

how do you know her boyfriend?

YDI for the pole. Your boyfriend's an idiot for the dumping.

Good riddance. I can't stand people so insecure. They're usually quite useless.

Your boyfriend was a douchebag. It's natural and normal to take notice of attractive people. If someone's boyfriend/girlfriend dumps them for taking notice of a good-looking member of the gender they're attracted to, the dumped person is better off.

someone's insecure...

You are better off... If he is that insecure you don't need to be with him. My wife and I talk all the time about the oposite sex... Doesn't bother either of us.

I love how many people think it's normal for someone to OGLE someone else to the point where they walk into a ******* pole. Yeah, because I totally see people walking into poles every day. Not. I mean really, did your eyes turn huge and your tongue drop out of your mouth like a cartoon character too?! It is normal for humans to *look* at other attractive people. It is NOT normal to completely scam on someone like a ******* creep. And I'm pretty sure if it had been the guy eye-******* another girl, the females on this site would be like "OMG YDI!!!!!!" (and I'm a female making this claim so please don't give me any shit about male double standards or whatever.)
